Well, it has finally happened! Ryan has helped me with my own
page so that everyone who visits our site doesn't think that my only interest are my
husband's! Fishing and camping are great and all, but I am doing so many new and
interesting things, I feel that I have to share them with EVERYONE!

I'll
start with the greatest, most wonderful, most demanding. . . being a MOMMY! I can't
believe how exciting it is to see our baby boy grow from a tiny, crying,
mess-making, wrinkled little bundle of joy into a laughing, running, bigger mess-making,
temper-tantrum- throwing toddler! It is so much more work than we ever dreamed of,
but Ryan and I LOVE being parents! |
My days are filled with so much
innocent fun! Jacob and I love to go outside exploring, play on the piano, dance to
fun music, jump on the trampoline, play with neat toys, sing songs together, read stories,
and so much more! I have been amazed at how great a sleeper he is. Our bedtime
ritual is so easy. PJ's, sippy-cup, fuzzy blanket, bedtime story, and a lullabye.
Then he's off to sleep without a whimper. I love it. (Of course, it wasn't
always so easy, but Ryan says we've trained him)

Since Jacob goes to bed around 7:30 every
night, it gives me a chance to do some activities that I like. For one thing, I have
become a MUCH better cook (Hey, ask Ryan!) ever since I've bought some awesome cooking
utensils from Pampered Chef that I totally LOVE. Maybe some day I will be
"Betty Crocker" West! Having some extra time also gives Ryan and I a
chance to be together. Both of us continue to learn and grow, and every day we love
each other more and more. He is my best friend, and we have so much fun
